Cuba: Unaddressed Campaign Issue

Funny how the subject of Cuba is almost never broached in the various U.S. Senate and gubernatorial forums and debates. And yet the shear economic angle for a state still being battered by recession begs its inclusion. The Tampa Bay area, the state’s political keystone, and the Port of Tampa would certainly be impacted.

The reality, however, is that no one among the current cast of candidates has enough Florida-first sense and political guts to do anything with such a query had it been asked.
