Hillsborough County commissioners recently updated a county parks ordinance. Wouldn’t want to be stuck in a 2008 time warp.
Two rule changes are particularly noteworthy.
Horseback riders younger than 15 will be required to wear helmets. Even if some think it’s a bit of a nanny-state move, who can quibble with public safety as a priority?
The new rules also let park visitors possess concealed weapons or keep them in vehicles.
Thanks again for the concern and update.
