So, Bernie Sanders ties Hillary Clinton in the Iowa caucus and trounces her in the New Hampshire primary. The people, so to speak, have spoken–even in those under-populated, demographically-skewed states.
But the overall, post-NH delegate count, thanks to super delegates–mostly party officials–would belie those Bernie-phenomenon headlines. Clinton currently leads 394-44.
It ultimately takes 2,382 delegates to win the Democratic nomination.
