One thing I like about the Outback Bowl–in addition to good SEC-Big Ten pairings, good crowds and good New Year’s Day exposure on national TV–is its name. It actually sounds like a bowl game–as opposed to the TaxSlayer, the Famous Idaho Potato, the GoDaddy, the Foster Farms, the Quick Lane and the Belk to name just a few.
