What’s Next?

Imagine, online retail behemoth Amazon just opened a brick-and-mortar book store this week in Seattle. According to the company, Amazon Books will be a physical extension of its website and combine the benefits of online pricing with traditional book shopping.

But an Amazon bricks-and-mortar store? Maybe it’s not the equivalent of Microsoft typewriters, Apple pagers or Google slide rules–but still seems counterintuitive.
