A gun-culture volunteer in Ohio–not “Flori-duh”–had to think it was a dream come true. A chance to stand in public with his AR-15 rifle to help guard a Lancaster, Oh., military recruiting center. But there’s a reason why, Chattanooga notwithstanding, this is officially frowned upon. That reason was provided almost on cue when the volunteer guard accidentally fired his weapon into the pavement.
