Clearwater’s renovated Capitol Theatre will reopen this winter with a number of big-name performers, including Jay Leno just days after he winds up his “Tonight Show” run. Moreover, prospects of a prominent, new Clearwater Marine Aquarium–where City Hall once stood–remain viable.
What also would be more viable is Clearwater’s identity–for something other than Scientology dominance–if downtown were to add the high-profile Aquarium to the re-opened, historic theatre.
