Any practitioner can tell you that South Tampa has turned into an uber competitive, yoga hotbed. Differentiating one studio from another can mean more than course offerings, instructor quality, teacher training and workshops. It can mean state-of-the-art amenities. It can mean personal pizzazz.
Case in point: This weekend’s debut of the newly relocated and upgraded Bella Prana Yoga and Meditation on West Kennedy Boulevard near the University of Tampa. It will feature easy-on-the-joints, (foam block-supported) “sprung floors”–the only ones in Tampa. It will also feature easy-on-the-eyes owner Roni Sloman, who later this year will begin hosting “YOUunity Yoga” on Sundays on the 24-hour Health & Wellness Channel. “YOUnity Yoga” will combine the physical benefits of yoga with meditative and breathing aspects.
