In an ad now running in Iowa, Jeb Bush’s Super PAC slams Marco Rubio for missing Congressional votes. Among Rubio’s missed votes: the massive spending bill that he had badmouthed. Rubio’s response, in a CBS News interview: “In essence, not voting for it is a vote against it.” He then pointed out that votes he has missed would not have changed any outcome.
How typically disingenuous. His premise is true only if everybody else shows up to work and votes as Rubio expects.
