Fix-It-Or-Forget-It Time For Jeb

Looking for any way to positively differentiate himself from the anti-establishment element, Jeb Bush is now in “been-there/done-that/still-can-do-it” mode. That means making the case to an electorate that he didn’t grow up with that he really was a successful-conservative- CEO/governor-of-a-huge-swing-state. Really.

Such experience, of course, is juxtaposed to his trackless-record Senate competition and the politically neophyte total outsiders. It’s Retooling 101, aka the “Jeb Can Fix It Tour.” That’s the new slogan, Jeb-started right here at the Tampa Garden Club, for an otherwise flatlining campaign.

One downside: the room-service punch line it also serves up to both pundits and political opponents: Can Jeb fix his own campaign?
