We knew it was inevitable, but it still rankles to see that special election to fill the House seat of the late U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young heading south so soon in the Republican primary. Already the 13th Congressional district race is more about President Obama and his Affordable Health Care plan than it is about the myriad of issues uniquely impacting Pinellas County residents–starting with the Biggert-Waters flood insurance crisis that Congress created.
