* Imagine if Mitt Romney were to win the GOP primary by just a handful of delegates. Not likely, but conceivable. And imagine if the difference were so few that they amounted to less (18) than Romney earned by winning, say, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands? How’s that for an American exceptionalism footnote?
