The traditional news symbiosis is electronic giving us the visuals for stories typically unearthed and chronicled by print. We just saw that reversed when the dailies did prominent pieces about County Commissioner Jim Norman’s Arkansas connection — after WFTS-Channel 28 broke the story.
For now, all we know is that Norman’s financial disclosure form says nothing about a home in Arkansas purchased for $435,000 in cash in 2006. But then it doesn’t have to. It’s in his wife’s name. It involves her “investors,” and that’s all Norman’s saying. But he does acknowledge that his name is on the title of two boats docked at that Arkansas home and he may, indeed, have to do some updating of what just might be a less-than-transparent, financial disclosure form.
